Accounts
Each account belongs to company, firm, group, or team. The account is setup at a customized URL the account owner selects (for instance, ACME Corp’s account would be located at https://acme.workpapers.com). Each “account” can have unlimited audit “projects” and each project then, in turn, can have any number of “objectives” (which is where your actual audit work is done).
Account Features
Manage Audit Projects
Each account can be used for unlimited audit projects. The account homepage (the default page when you login) lists all of the audits you have access to and gives account administrators the ability to start new.
Manage project archives
From the account home, you can also access the project archive, which is where all of your completed and archived projects are located. Archived projects are kept as read-only (no changes allowed), unless they are unarchived by an account administrator.
Project Rollforwards
Any project within the projects can be rolled forward to create a new audit and carry all data and files in the old project into the new one to make re-performing the audit next year a snap. Distinct copies of all files are created so they can be edited and updated with no effect on the files in the old project.
Project Templates
Project rollforwards can also be used for creating template audits and creating actual projects from those templates. Simply create a new audit, fill it with the data and files you want available in many different similar audits you do, archive it, then do a roll forward each time you want to execute a project based on that template. An extremely useful feature, particularly for professional service firms that do many similar audit projects for multiple different clients.
Manage users
Account administrators can invite any number of users to their account (assuming it is a paid account). These users may be employees, contractors, clients, outside auditors, process owners, executives, etc. All that is required is their name and email address. You can suspend and reactivate users in your account at any time. At any given time, you may have as many users activated as allowed by your plan.
